Photos published by People show actress Sarah Pidgeon and British actor Joe Alwyn together on a Saturday afternoon stroll, relaxed and affectionate enough to fuel dating speculation, with the outlet reporting the two had been spotted around the borough multiple times over the previous week.
Denim, basics, and one very public kiss
For their most recent outing, Pidgeon, 29, wore low-waisted bootcut jeans with a simple white tank, while Alwyn, 35, kept it equally casual in a black t-shirt and faded baggy jeans. At one point Pidgeon was photographed with her arm around him before the two kissed inside a restaurant, images that read as considerably less guarded than either has typically allowed in public.
Alwyn's first public romance since Taylor Swift
If the relationship is confirmed, it would mark Alwyn's first publicly reported romance since his split from Taylor Swift in April 2023, after more than six years together spent almost entirely out of public view. He's remained consistent about that instinct for privacy since the breakup, telling The Times in 2024 that navigating a heavily scrutinized separation meant having something "very real suddenly thrown into a very unreal space," and adding that he and Swift, who is set to marry Travis Kelce this July, had mutually chosen to keep their relationship private with no reason to reconsider that now. Neither Alwyn nor Pidgeon has commented on the current speculation.
