If she were 35 this year, the tipster argued, she'd have been around 22 at the time, an age gap that fueled speculation she'd misrepresented how old she is. The claims followed earlier reporting, including by 8Days, that had listed her age as 35 based on information available at the time. ## Wu's statement disputes both claims Wu responded through a statement issued via his agency, B'in Music, calling the allegations that Aramaki lied about her age and falsified her academic background untrue. The statement puts her actual age at 31, not 35, and says she did graduate from UCL, adding that the relevant information can be verified. "This formal clarification is to set the record straight," the statement read, asking that the matter be considered closed. ## A second marriage, and a return to Japan Wu and Aramaki registered their marriage in Las Vegas in May before making the relationship public the following month. It's Wu's second marriage; he was previously married to Singaporean heiress Arissa Cheo from 2013 to 2018.
