# Cortis Doesn't Do Just One Aesthetic, and That's the Point

> Across their GREENGREEN era, the five-member boy group has moved between sporty streetwear, Euro-sleaze maximalism, dialed-down grunge and boy-next-door basics without ever losing what makes them recognizably Cortis.

Cortis has built a reputation on refusing to sit still, in sound and in wardrobe alike, which tracks given the group's name is short for "Colour Outside the Lines." Rather than settling into one aesthetic, the five members move fluidly between sporty streetwear, Euro-sleaze maximalism, softened grunge and plain boy-next-door basics, and somehow all of it still reads as unmistakably them.

## Track jackets as a signature, not a phase

Sporty pieces are the closest thing Cortis has to a uniform: Adidas track jackets in primary colors, worn open over plain shirts or zipped up, paired with baggy denim or matching track pants. The fits lean oversized in a way that reads nostalgic without feeling dated, borrowing directly from street fashion rather than the gym.

## Then ACAI happened

The group's most experimental styling arrived with the track ACAI, which went all in on Euro-sleaze: fur coats, statement sunglasses, novelty scarves and deliberately mismatched trousers, all mixed together with the kind of chaotic, party-driven confidence the aesthetic is built on. It's the clearest example of the group treating styling as narrative rather than decoration, matching the track's energy rather than just accessorizing it.

## Grunge, dialed down, and basics, dialed up

Member James tends to carry the group's grungier moments, washed or distressed denim and darker, oversized outerwear paired with mussed-up hair, though the styling stays cleaner than classic punk, minimalist jewellery keeping the whole thing feeling modern rather than aggressive. At the opposite end sits their boy-next-door mode: plain tees, simple crewnecks and basic trousers that put fit and color ahead of any statement piece, a register that makes five superstars look approachably ordinary. Whatever the aesthetic on a given day, it functions as another language for the group to say who they are, alongside the music itself.
